There isnt many that are nocturnal, mostly the owl is, which explains thr large eyes they have for their night vision. I have included a source to see photos of the night birds.

dude...bats are mammals!! Besides different kinds of owls, the only other bird I can think of is a ruffed grouse. Don't know much about them, but I'd hear them beating their wings at night while camping and my dad would tell me what they were.
