I THINK WHAT YOU HAVE IS A SET OF PARAKEETS THAT ARE MATES AND DO NOT WANT ANY OTHER PARAKEETS AROUND,,I WOULD TAK THE EXCLUDED ONE OUT BEFORE IT IS KILLED BECAUSE MATES PROTECT EACH OTHER

I am with your other advisor the two that are together have paired up as mates and the other one is just a third wheel. They really do not have to be seperated out though they are colony birds so I am supposing that you do have a large enough cage to start with, the odd bird out will learn to stay out of there way. Of course if they do nothing but constantly fight then for the third birds well being and your peace and quite you might seperate them then.

It would be best to seperate the bird from the rest, is that bird younger then the rest? Also is he showing any signs of being ill? Many times birds will attack or pick on a bird that is ill, you might want to check that out just to be sure.
