hhhmmm...
You have keets, so, you know how much of a mess those little guys make, keep in mind, the bigger the bird, the bigger the mess.
Any idea as to how much you want to spend?
Pretty much any parrot is capable of learning tricks.
Small: Parrotlet, they are little clowns and have a cute "mechanical" voice, I think they are a tad bit easier to understand than the keets.
Medium size, this is where the $$$ is going to get ya. Do some research on the species to get to know the general personalities.
I'm partial to the quakers, my guy breaks the norms, VERY quiet, and doesn't talk :( (the stinker). Though, he is VERY intelligent...took only 5 minutes to teach him to go "round and round", another 15 for "give me 4" (they only have 4 toes! :D ) and then another 15 to raise his wings on command.
I'd LOVE to have a Sun also, but the noisy conures in them keeps me from having that breed right now.
Wouldn't mind a Green Cheek, but, again, conure!
Would DIE for a Timneh African Grey, but $$ for the bird and cage, not to mention the room for it, is keeping me from getting one right now.
Yes, I have MBS (multiple bird syndrome).
Good luck on figuring out which parrot you would like!
The like below has a chart of species, cuddliness, lifespan, noise level, etc. to help you decide. :D
