She is a medium size duck with a long bill and short tail feathers. When she was little she had yellow feathers instead of the white she has now.

Truly, you have a muscovy duck. Males will grow considerably larger than females, & grow a nobby, red bit of skin on their beaks. You can find them in Florida lakes, enjoying handouts from local residents. They will propagate profusely, nuturing their young devoutly. Female ducks will share "baby-sitting" duties, watching quite a little floatilla of ducklings at once. They will nest almost anywhere, preferring to hide under mobile homes, but we have seen their nests in trees, full of peeping yellow balls of fluff! Enjoy!

You probably have a muscovy duck. They are originally from South America. They are the only domestic duck that is not derived from Mallard ducks. There are many colour variations, but they all seem to have those beautiful iridescent black feathers.
