Every day! I use a spray bottle. Only one of my birds enjoys to slosh in a plate or bowl by herself. The others are more particuar- and one likes a bath in the shower with a light spray from the adjustable showerhead.
Sometimes more then 4 times a day in summer when it's really hot and soak them to the bone each time, but every three days durring later Fall to later Winter- just enough to dampen the outer feathers- and that is the time they all get misted by a spray bottle to prevent getting a chill.
I use just water mostly, but during moulting season, I spray with a mixture of pure aloe Vera juice (fresh from a health-food store) and Witch Hazle. This will not harm your bird if ingested, and it helps to disinfect and calm skin irritation from those nasty little pinfeathers.

you dont bathe your bird the bird will do it on its own all you do is put a bowl of water in there and it will do it and you dont have to do it very often just once a week or so you are likely to rip out lots of their feathers if you try to bathe them

Your bird can decide that for himself/herself. Just let your bird have continuous access to the bath, and let nature settle this question.

Oh you are talking about spraying them with a mist bottle at lest 2 times a month.

I dont need to bathe them, they can do it by themselves. I just put in a large bowl of clean water and when they are done throwing it everywhere I dump whatever is left of it.
