Yes, but you need to introduct them correctly.

Get a second cage and put it next to the first cage. Let them see each other for a while, and observe them. If things look OK then let them out of the cages together. Only after they have been "introduced" is it safe to place them together in the same cage.



We do this all the time and have been very successfull.

Yes, I've up to 9 cockatiels together at one time, 6 were males and they all got along fine, I've always had several of each sex together and they all lived in the same cage ( a large one of course), they have also been tame birds and untame birds together too.

They will fight if confined to a cage, I would say clip their wings and leave the cage door open so neither of them feels trapped- eventually they will get along.
