I have three birds that have really interesting behaviours;
1---The first budgie is a male, who gets crazy when he sees feet or shoes, he has to get on the shoe and show his affection to the shoe, even when the feet are not in it. He can wonder so close to your steps, following the shoes, that could be dangerous as to step on him. When we have guests, he keeps sniffing their shoes or socks, just like dogs.
2---My second budgie is neat freak, he has to clean up the cage from all kinds of foods stuck into the walls of the cage. He keeps biting the dried old food, and throw it away from the cage, then does not stop unless all the cage is free of hanging dry food or fruit.
3---My third pet is a lovebird, that likes to go to sleep under the cage cover, when it gets dark. Instead of going to his cage, or the budgies cage, which both have the doors open, he prefers going under the cover, between the roof of the cage and that cover. He can sleep there, squeezed the whole night.

I have a two year old Goffins Cockatoo, and a 4 year old African Grey. My cockatoo will share her food with the dogs. The dogs know that she has food and will sit pretty around her play stand waiting for the food to drop. When she notices them there, she starts throwing them food. If I leave the room for a second, she will scream her head off until I return and if I try to lay in bed at night and watch the news, she will scream at me until I turn off the tv. Her favorite toys are the cat play balls with the little bells in them. Somehow she gets the little bells out without breaking open the ball, and will play with the bells for hours.

My African grey dances to rap music and whistles the ending to sponge bob squarepants. In the morning when I am getting dressed, he says Work Work, goodbye. He dips ALL his food in his water before eating it, and the second he hears a bag opening, his wings are fluttering and he's dancing wanting what ever you have.

I have a Male Goffins Cockatoo, who for some reason is crazy about my adult son, who could care less about him, my son also has mental problems. I have a man that is homeless that does yard work for me, an my Cockatoo goes ballistic every time he sees him the same reaction he has to my son. He starts screaming and will get down of of his cage and go to see this person or my son, if he can. That is the only time he behaves like that they do look similar the other man does have a few personality problems, but is very nice. I have had my Cockatoo since he was a year old he is about 14 now. I don't know if he remembers someone, or what it is. I wish I knew.
